Responsibilities

• Opportunities exists for the position of Special Assistance and Security Agents.
• Candidates are required to perform a variety of customer support tasks as well as perform security functions.
• Duties include providing service to customers requiring special assistance, including wheelchair requests, unaccompanied minor supervision and other requests as directed by the immediate supervisor. Special Assistance/Security Agents also perform agent takeover functions and provide assistance at the self-service machine (SSM) during customer check-in.
• Additionally, SAS Agents are responsible for performing security related tasks as required by the Air Operator Standard Security Program (AOSSP) and the International Security Program (ISP).
• In addition to the above specified duties, Special Assistance/Security Agents will perform other duties as assigned from time to time and may be assigned to alternate positions to meet operational needs.
• Ordinarily, SAS Agents will work Saturday/Sunday and Public Holidays as needed. Hours will vary.

• In this role, communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Successful candidates must be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ability to demonstrate above-average qualities of communication, professionalism, initiative, accountability, teamwork, and good judgment are essential.
• Candidates must demonstrate an ability to learn new systems and procedures, be able to perform all duties under sometimes stressful conditions beyond the employee's control while attempting to influence a favorable impression of Envoy, American Airlines or any other contracted airline service provided by Envoy.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated and safety conscious.
• Minimum Age: 18
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• License: Valid driver’s license
• Citizenship: Legal right to work in SKB
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform job duties in variable weather conditions as well as environmental conditions such as engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and engine noise. Prior experience is not required but will be an advantage.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
